The death occurred suddenly and peacefully, on January 31 2012, of Brother John Matthew Corkery OSB. John was a former student of Glenstal, a member of the Class of 1986. More recently as a monk, he was actively involved with the school as Director of Activities. He will be sorely missed on many fronts, by many people. May he rest in peace.
